At Rangehood Solutions, we know ducting. We have all the correct ducting products, materials and options on hand to suit your type of rangehood & installation.

Whether it be a silent off board model rangehood or a standard onboard type we have the right ducting solution for you.

When bends or offsets are unavoidable in the ducting run we will use 150/125mm “semi rigid” ducting. This is an aluminium smooth internal bore product which allows high unrestricted airflow around any radius of bend/offset. We can also offer a rectangle PVC boxed ducting for in wall frame or limited space installations. This option is also available in the equivalent of 150/125mm sizes with a variety of rectangle to round adaption fittings, along with horizontal and vertical offset options.

Some advantages of using the high spec ducting products mentioned above over the sub-standard flexible ducting used by some installers are:

  • All ducting is flame and rodent proof
  • All ducting has a smooth internal bore allowing a maximum unrestricted airflow from the rangehood fan/motor to the duct outlet
  • An unrestricted airflow in turn creates a quieter, more efficient performing rangehood at kitchen level

  • Semi Rigid Ducting

    Ideal ducting to install with powerful onboard rangehoods, with ducting distances of 0-6m

  • Flexi Ducting – when installed with Onboard, Non-Silent Rangehoods

    If installed with an onboard model, only to be used on very short ducting routes 0-3m maximum & when the installation of semi rigid ducting is unachievable

  • Flexi Ducting – When installed with Offboard Silent Rangehoods

    If installed with an offboard model, plan for a 3-6m ducting route, the longer the ducting distance the quieter the rangehood will perform at kitchen level

  • High Spec Flexi Ducting

    Premium Flexi Ducting, to be installed as noted above with either onboard or offboard models, this ducting is flame proof, rodent proof & highly durable

  • Galvanised & Spiral Duct

    Ideal for extra-long onboard ducting routes, excellent airflow & highly durable

  • Flat Channel Ducting

    Ideal for installation in narrow spaces, in ceilings, toe kicks & in wall frames, comes with a variety of fittings

  • Naber Channel Ducting

    Premium Flat Channel Ducting, with a smooth internal bore & rounded corner edges for optimum airflow, perfect to install with downdraughts and again all those tight narrow spaces
